If the colour stays the same, how much of a brand’s personality does the motion alone carry?

A presence that leans toward you. Reads as welcoming and confident: hospitality, health, community.
- What we tested
- One colour, the Mancer orange, rendered as four real-time materials that react to the pointer: a glowing orb, folding silk, a field of threads and merging blobs.
- What we learned
- Motion changes the voice more than colour does. People described the same orange as welcoming, premium, precise or playful depending only on how it moved, so motion belongs in the brand guidelines next to colour and type.
- Where it could be used
- Motion identity, hero backgrounds, launch films, product pages and event screens.
